2/9ths Share of Magnificent Moody 39, based Slovenia

One Off is probably the best equipped Moody 39 in the Mediterranean. Built in 1979, One Off has been owned by a syndicate of six since 1981. She has been maintained without regard to cost (after all bills are shared six ways!!) and is in outstanding condition. In recent years the yacht’s inventory has benefited from a new rig (cockpit controlled slab reefing), an engine rebuild, completely refinished decks and a complete rewire. It goes without saying that smaller items such as winches, hatches, electric windlasses and running rigging are all recent, regularly maintained and in outstanding working order. The yacht is a standard 1979 Moody with eight berths in four cabins and two heads. The syndicate handbook is available to interested purchasers. All instruments, including the GPS, were renewed in 2006. There is no chart plotter, fish finder or radar.

Due to the retirement of one member of the syndicate after 25 years, a 2/9th share has become available. This share gives the owner six weeks exclusive use of the yacht per season, with additional use available jointly with other members at times. Owners are expected to contribute a monthly sum to the yacht’s running costs (currently £75 per one ninth share) and become involved in annual fitting out and/or laying up weeks. The cost of this 2/9ths share is £13,000. It would be available from 1st April, or earlier by arrangement.

The yacht is currently based in Slovenia, but will be moving to Dubrovnik/Montenegro in August and will winter in the Ionian. Future cruising areas are determined at the annual meeting of syndicate members.
